Consulting
Bring your idea to life.

Vortimac Software provides various consulting services. Usually, because of my location in northern Mississippi, these services are related to web programming (HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL) and design. However, my expertise is in OS X programming, primarily (but not only) Cocoa.

Rates are dependent on the size of the project, and may be either hourly or per project. I'm always happy to discuss projects on the phone, or in person, so please feel free to contact me if you'd like to set up a meeting.

Portfolio
A glance at a few of Vortimac's past projects

In the past year alone, Vortimac has been hired to design and implement more than a dozen websites. Shown below is a sample of the these sites.

If you're interested, and would like a complete list of the sites Vortimac has done, send me an email and I'll be happy to provide you a full list. All of my customers have been completely satisfied with their sites, and I'm sure you will be too.

The James Worth Bagley College of Engineering, Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering, and Agricultural & Biological Engineering websites, respectively. This is a group of five sites, the other two being Computer Science and Industrial & Systems Engineering (coming soon), that Vortimac was hired to design and implement. The really cool thing about these sites is that they contain Vortimac's content management system, which runs the important day-to-day activities. It handles things like news updates, course scheduling, professor web pages, faculty and staff listings, advisor lookup, and various other duties (dependent on the department). Basically, this system allows someone who lacks any technical knowledge to update many pages on the site. Pages are dynamically generated from a database and rendered according using a template. They also feature a calendar, for scheduling department or college wide events.
This site was implemented for Kids Kreations,
a fundraising project that transforms handmade art into personalized products.
The American Electrophoresis Society website. Includes a forum for member discussions, and an online payment form for membership fees.
